WHAT IS A GALIP NUT?

Scientifically referred to as Canarium Indicum - The Galip Nut is a superfood nut indigenous to the rainforests of Melanesian countries in the South Pacific. This includes Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. 

 

What sets Galip apart from other nuts, is not only that it's the lowest carb nut on the market, it’s also packed full of nutrients and antioxidants and has a delicious yet unique creamy texture and flavour.

 

What makes it a superfood nut?

It has the lowest carb and sodium content and higher levels of Vitamin E and Magnesium compared to any nut on the planet.

Galip Nut is also very high in antioxidants and is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties by indigenous people, who have been using it for medicinal purposes for thousands of years. 

 

High in healthy omega oils, particularly Omega 9 and 6. Rich in calcium and potassium, making this powerhouse nut a nutritious snack option. 

 

Galip nuts are also a complete protein, containing 15 amino acids including seven of the nine essential amino acids that your body needs to get from food--something that's rare for plant-based protein.

Wild Harvested

The nuts are wild harvested by traditional landowners to preserve the pristine rainforests in which they grow.

A delicate, buttery nut is extracted from fruity flesh, followed by a hard shell (similar to that of a walnut).
